Goalhanger Named Best Audio Brand at Radio Academy ARIAS

We started in a room above a coffee shop. Last night, we were named Audio Brand of the Year at the UK ARIAS

A huge moment for everyone at Goalhanger - and one we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve grown from a handful of shows to a slate reaching millions across podcasts, video, social media, and live events. But our focus hasn’t changed: smart storytelling, trusted voices, and content people genuinely want to spend time with.

This win belongs to the whole team - producers, editors, hosts, and everyone behind the scenes who puts care and creativity into the work every day. And of course, it belongs to our listeners. None of this happens without you.

The judges said: “Our gold winner has had a truly exceptional twelve months. Their impressive portfolio of talent and podcast titles are conversational, yet ruthlessly focused on audience wants and needs. They demonstrate innovation, ambition and commercial success across multiple platforms, and they continue to be significant players in the live experience space. The panel are excited to see what their next move is.”
